Saturday, April 11, 2026, 11 am – 12:30 pm In this handson workshop, kids ages 38 and their caregivers explore Japanese tea traditions, make decaf matcha, and learn how we take care of tea utensils. First, families take a guided tour of Reasons to Gather: Japanese Tea Practice Unwrapped. Then art conservators show how we treat tea bowls used in gatherings and compare them to the ones we display.
