At each of these 15-minute talks visitors will hear incredibly bigstoriesabout a big object. About this Program:The paradox of the American Revolution is the fight for liberty in an era of widespread slavery. Talk with a museum docent and explore the tension between slavery and freedom—who belongs and who is excluded. Consider how this paradox resonates through the nation's history and spurs the American people to wrestle constantly with building a more perfect Union.
