Open Studio: Birds of a Feather
About
Saturday, April 11, 2026, 10 am – 2 pm This April, creativity is in full bloom every Saturday at Open Studio! Each week, we'll look at nature-inspired artworks by artists such as Alexander Calder, Giacomo Balla, Joseph Cornell, and more. Join us this Saturday as we get inspired by Joseph Cornell'sUntitled (Aviary with Yellow Birds)(c. 1948). Cornell was known for hisuse of found objects to craft imaginary worlds. Inspired by his practice, we'll use natural materials such as sticks, rocks, and flowers to create our own world in a box!
